    The Indus Auguries is a biannual journal dedicated to exploring the rich heritage and contemporary narratives of the Indus region and beyond. It merges scholarly rigor with creative insight, offering a platform where history, culture, and art converge to inspire dialogue and discovery. 

     

    We welcome literary essays, short fiction, poetry, translations, and visual art that engage with the themes of the Indus region and even beyond that.  Submissions, whether scholarly or creative, should honor the region's history, culture, and dynamic narratives. 

     

    The journal is managed by a dedicated team with the following primary roles:

    • Editor-in-Chief: Oversees strategic direction, funding, long-term goals, and adherence to the journal’s core values.
    • Executive Head: Manages daily operations, internal organization, and serves as the primary contact for operational matters.
    • Editor & Content Manager: Handles editorial direction, content creation, website management, and marketing.

     

    Contributors from all backgrounds—academics, writers, artists, and thinkers—are encouraged to submit. Whether you’re an established scholar or a fresh voice, if your work aligns with our mission, we’d love to hear from you.

    Submissions undergo a dual review process: an editorial evaluation for relevance and quality, followed by peer review where applicable. We prioritize originality, thematic alignment, and intellectual and artistic merit.
