Submission Guidelines

The Indus Auguries is a biannual online journal dedicated to exploring the diverse stories, histories, and cultural narratives of the Indus region. We invite writers, poets, photographers, and artists from around the world to contribute work that reflects the essence of this rich and complex landscape.
Our publication operates on a biannual cycle, with issues released every six months. Submissions are open year-round, but each issue has a specific deadline for consideration.
We welcome:
- Fiction, poetry, and creative non-fiction
- Essays and opinion pieces focused on the Indus region
- Visual art, photography, and multimedia storytelling
Submission Requirements:
- All submissions must be original and unpublished.
- Simultaneous submissions are accepted, but please notify us immediately if your work is accepted elsewhere.
- Written work should be submitted as a Word document, double-spaced, using a standard font.
- Visual submissions should be in high-resolution JPEG or PNG format.
- Include a brief bio (100 words max) with your submission.
Reading Periods:
- February 15 - April 15
- September 15 - November 15
Review Process:
Our editorial team carefully reviews each submission. Selected contributors will be notified before the release of the upcoming issue.
